Two new deals at Matrix Park in Chorley have cemented the development’s position as one of the North West’s biggest success stories.
Unit C3 on plot 1100 has been let to 3D Marketing Group in a deal which has seen the award winning direct marketing business take a three year lease on the purpose built office facility. In addition, public relations agency, The Write Angle has purchased a 2,474 sq ft (230 sq m) office, complete with 10 parking spaces, on plot 1200 for an undisclosed sum.
“We are delighted to be moving to our new Head Office on Matrix Park”, said Ian Smith of 3D Marketing Group. “As part of our on-going growth strategy, we were looking for a location that would be pleasant to work in and that customers and staff could get to easily. Matrix Park fulfils both criteria.”
"Given the state of the market this is a fantastic achievement", added Harrow’s development director, Adrian Lewis. "We have worked hard to secure occupiers for Matrix Park and its credentials have enabled it to continue to thrive despite the current conditions within the property market."
Being just one mile from junction 28 of the M6 and two miles from junction 8 of the M61, Matrix Park has become popular with occupiers looking for a strategic location with easy access to the motorway network and a variety of nearby amenities. Set within a landscaped environment, the Park forms part of the 400 acre Buckshaw Village project, the most ambitious mixed use development in the North West region.
There are opportunities for a further five acres of development across plots 1400 and 1500 and planning has been obtained for a 4,075 sq m (43,863 sq ft) landmark office building at the junction of Dawson Road and the A49 Wigan Road.
King Sturge’s Richard Wharton, joint agent on the scheme with DTZ, concluded: “As one of Chorley’s most prestigious business developments with quality of accommodation and location at its heart, Matrix Park enjoys a formidable reputation which has been reflected in the rate of take up at the scheme.”
