Steve Morgan
Chairman
Harrow Estates Plc was founded in 2001 by Steve Morgan, the founder and Chairman of Redrow plc, with the aim of delivering solutions particularly in respect of previously developed sites to the market.
Under Steve’s leadership, Harrow Estates has grown to become a highly successful property company renowned for its entrepreneurial approach, masterplanning, problem solving and technical expertise. Steve is also Chairman of Redrow plc and the Bridgemere Group of Companies, which includes Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and Carden Leisure.
In 1992 he was awarded the OBE for his services to the construction industry.
Jennie Daly
Managing Director
Jennie became Managing Director of Harrow Estates in July 2009 having joined the company as a founding employee in August 2002. Jennie has a BA (Hons) in Town and Country Planning, and a BPI (Bachelor of Planning) from Manchester University and is a Chartered Town Planner.
With a diverse background in planning and development in both public and private sectors, Jennie specialises in opportunity appraisal and the management of the planning and development timetable and strategy to drive quality and value.
Jennie has extensive experience in the planning and management of complex developments leading a highly experienced team across a range of disciplines.
Vincent Fairclough
Legal Director
Vincent Fairclough joined Harrow Estates in-house in May 2004 having dealt with all Harrow Estates legal work since 2001 whilst in private practice.
Vincent has nearly 40 years experience, gained in both private practice and industry, in all aspects of commercial property matters dealing, mainly, in residential development work for regional and national house builders.
Vincent’s experience includes high value purchases and sales, acquisitions and disposals of large property portfolios, complex Planning Agreements, overages, options, securitisation, promotion agreements, joint venture agreements, funding agreements, development agreements, contamination and environmental matters.
Jonathan Masters
Commercial Director
Jonathan is a Chartered Surveyor with over 30 years experience in the construction and property industries and has been a member of the Harrow team for 6 years, fulfilling the role of Commercial Director. He has a familiarity with most of the standard published forms of construction and engineering contracts and maintains an array of bespoke agreements for less conventional situations and professional appointments.
Jonathan’s capabilities include the production of complex development appraisals and financial models, which are frequently utilised for joint venture agreements. He is extensively experienced in hotel and leisure developments as well as residential, commercial and civil engineering schemes including both project management and financial delivery.
Jonathan is a former Regional Director of Faithful and Gould (WS Atkins plc) and Associate Director of Silk and Frazier.
Mark Nicholls
Technical Director
Mark is Technical Director at Harrow Estates and joined the company in 2005. A qualified Civil Engineer, Mark Nicholls was awarded a Bachelor of Engineering Degree with (First Class Honours) in 1996.
Mark is responsible for the technical appraisal of sites during acquisition, as well as the management of all aspects of the demolition, remediation and infrastructure works needed to render sites ready for development and sale.
Mark has previously worked for Redrow Construction Limited as a Site Engineer; Redrow Homes Northern Limited as Site/Design Engineer, and David Wilson Homes North West as both Regional Engineer and Technical Director.
Mark’s career highlights include the design, infrastructure management and delivery for a 200-acre, 2,000-unit development for Redrow Homes; the acquisition and infrastructure management of a 227 acre former US Air Force base for David Wilson Homes; and the acquisition of a former agrochemicals site at Hauxton, Cambridgeshire, for remediation by Harrow Estates.
Adrian Lewis
Development Director
Adrian is a Chartered Surveyor of 20 years post qualification experience specialising for many years in commercial property within the regeneration sector. He joined the Harrow Estates team in November 2009.
After qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor at W T Gunson’s in Manchester, Adrian moved to what is now National Grid Properties, where his roles as Regional Manager and Major Site Manager encompassed the multi million pound redevelopments and disposals of contaminated former gas works. The projects involved residential, retail, industrial and commercial schemes, across the UK.
In 2005, Adrian joined Redrow Commercial Developments as Development Director responsible for the company’s commercial development projects, in particular the 80 acre development of Matrix Park in Lancashire, an office and industrial business park, and major schemes in North Wales, Lichfield and the 350 acre Severnside site in Bristol, which are now under Harrow Estates management.
Julian Hamer
Development Surveyor
A Development Surveyor at Harrow Estates, Julian Hamer has a BSc (Hons) in Property Management & Investment and is a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Julian joined the company in April 2008 and is responsible for sourcing, financially appraising and managing land acquisitions up to final disposal. He liaises with both in-house and external consultants both before and after acquisition.
Previously Julian was an Associate Partner with a national Chartered Surveying firm based in Manchester, heading up the Commercial Agency departments.
Whilst employed with this firm, he was responsible for business development and identifying genuine business opportunities, whilst also brokering deals for land, industrial property and offices. He has extensive experience in servicing the property requirements of large corporate clients.
Tim Booth
Planning Manager
Tim Booth joined Harrow Estates in January 2010 as Planning Manager and is responsible for the appraisal of sites and promotion through the planning process.
This process ensures maximisation of the land asset, as well as delivery of a range of residential and mixed use schemes.
Tim has extensive expertise as a Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI), with over 15 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors.
Most recently, Tim provided specialist planning advice to a regeneration company, INTend, and was formerly an associate director with Countryside Properties in the North West.
