Movember Madness!
Movember, the month formerly known as November, is now dedicated to growing moustaches and raising awareness and funds for men's health; specifically prostate and testicular cancer.
Six gallant Harrow chaps donated their top lips to the cause for 30 days in an effort to help change the face of men's health. The ‘Mo' growth sparked conversations and generated some laughs all in the name of raising vital awareness and funds for cancers affecting men.
The Harrow Team (left to right); Julian Hamer, Simon Brooks, Lee Wood, Tim Noden, Tim Booth and Adrian Lewis (not shown) raised a total of £835 through donations.
Simon Brooks said “We are extremely grateful to all who sponsored us to raised such a large sum for a great cause. We’ve helped each other though the early growing phases, generated much amusement for our friends, families and colleagues and are proud of our achievements. Raising awareness of these health issues has been as important as raising money. We are, however, all looking forward to being able to shave in December!”
You are still able to donate, should you wish to do so,
