Completed Boulevard Landscaping and Sports pitch Car Park at Woodford Garden Village

We are pleased to be finalising the boulevard landscaping and sports pitch car park at Redrow’s 920 dwelling development at Woodford, Stockport.

Preserving the character and heritage of the existing runway at the heart of the development was paramount in the design of the Garden Village; creating safe, green, pedestrian/cyclist pathways for residents with a clear memory of the former aerodrome's aviation history.

The car park uses the existing runway surface, and it’s insignia references the original runway designation, whilst the landscaping planting draws inspiration from the Vulcan’s camouflage detailing, making this development truly unique.
