Will Heath became Chairman of Harrow Estates in 2017. He oversees the day to day running of the company, and is heavily involved in the Group’s largest and most complex land acquisitions.
Will also sits on the Executive Board of Redrow PLC as Group Development Director, and has overall responsibility for the management of the Group’s land bank. In particular he ensures that acquired land is progressed as quickly as possible through the pre-development stage before becoming an active sales outlet.
He joined Redrow in 2007 as a Managing Director for the NW region, before progressing to Regional Chief Executive of the Midlands division. Prior to his career at Redrow, Will worked at Strutt & Parker for seven years, overseeing the development of land in the North West.
Will is an accredited Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Land Management for the Royal Agricultural University.
Julian Larkin has been the Managing Director of Harrow Estates since February 2018 and is responsible for driving the growth of the business and ensuring there is a continuous supply of land parcels delivered to the Redrow Homes regional businesses. Julian joined Redrow in 2015 as its Group Planning Director, overseeing the Group’s forward land bank of over 30,000 plots, and lobbying Government policy on housing and planning.
As part of his more than 30 years’ experience in the housebuilding industry, Julian spent six years as Managing Director of Cavendish and Gloucester Properties Plc, and a further six years as the a Development Director at Crest Nicholson.
Julian is a Chartered Town Planner, having qualified with a Bachelor’s degree in Town Planning from London South Bank University in 1993
Mark Nicholls has been the Technical Director at Harrow Estates since April 2005.
His main responsibilities include the technical appraisal of new sites and specialises in the technical management and delivery of demolition, remediation and infrastructure provision of large, complex sites.
Mark has more than 25 years’ experience in the industry, having begun his career as an Engineer at Redrow in 1990. Prior to taking on his role at Harrow Estates, Mark held a number of positions at David Wilson Homes before progressing to the role of Technical Director for the housebuilder in 2001.
Mark comes from a background in Civil Engineering and has a first class undergraduate degree with honours in Civil Engineering from Bolton University.
Peter Marsden joined Harrow Estates in August 2015 as the company’s Legal Director. Peter is responsible for all legal matters, from the day-to-day running of the business and management of existing sites, through to the acquisition of new sites and structuring new deals. Peter works closely with all members of the Harrow Estates team, UK wide.
Peter has spent more than 15 years within the housing industry, having previously worked as a Regional Solicitor for Taylor Wimpey. Prior to moving in-house, Peter acted for several national housebuilders, working from the Liverpool office at Brabners LLP.
Peter studied law at Liverpool University and completed his LPC at The College of Law, Chester.
Tim Noden has been the Planning Director at Harrow Estates since January 2016.
His main responsibilities include management of planning appraisals for site acquisitions, the submission and negotiation of large scale planning application proposals, planning appeals and planning policy promotion work. Tim also assists with overseeing the Group’s forward land bank and coordinating group representations to government policy on key housing and planning matters.
Tim has more than 17 years’ experience within the industry, having joined Harrow Estates plc in 2008, after working as Strategic Land and Planning Manager at Wainhomes North West. Prior to that, Tim worked as a planning consultant at a small consultancy.
Tim is a Chartered Town Planner and accredited member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI). He has an undergraduate degree in Geography Bsc, and a masters’ degree in Town Planning from the University of Manchester.
Steve Caldwell joined the Harrow team as Development Director in 2017, having held the position in Redrow Homes since 2014 and holds responsibility for advising on the Group’s land acquisition and planning strategy, working closely with Redrow’s regional land and planning teams.
He has over 33 years’ experience in the property industry, since joining Redrow as a graduate in 1990, progressing to Land Director in 2009, a position he held for over five years.
Steve’s wider Group experience brings to the Harrow Business a greater focus on efficient delivery of viable strategic land to support the long term growth expectations of the Redrow Homes divisions.
Steve is based in Harrow’s Oxford offices which further strengthens his ability to provide support across the Southern divisions.
Steve holds a Bachelor’s degree in Residential Development from Nottingham Trent University.
Alex Sciarretta has been a Land Director at Harrow Estates since November 2018. Alex is responsible for acquiring both strategic sites for future development and more immediate sites, by working closely with land owners, agents and other stakeholders. He also works closely with Redrow’s regional planning teams to monitor their immediate and strategic land banks and identify areas of growth within the business.
Having spent more than 15 years within the housing and planning industry, Alex’s career has seen him as Land Director for Taylor Wimpey and Assistant Director for social housing providing Senital Housing Association.
Alex qualified with a BSc Hons in Real Estate – Valuation & Estate Management from The University of Bristol in 2004.
