Will became Chairman of Harrow Estates in July 2017. Will also sits on the Executive Board of Redrow Plc and has overall responsibility for the management of the Group’s land bank; in particular he ensures that acquired land is progressed as quickly as possible through pre-development stages before becoming an active sales outlet. Will is also heavily involved in the Group’s largest and most complex land acquisitions.
Julian is a Chartered Town Planner with over 30 years’ experience in the property industry. He joined Redrow in 2015 as Group Planning Director with responsibility for overseeing the Group’s forward land bank of over 30,000 plots, whilst also seeking to influence government policy on housing and planning. Julian’s responsibilities now include steering the growth of the Harrow business forward and ensuring a continuous supply of serviced land parcels is delivered to the Redrow Homes regional businesses.
Julian has previously held positions as Strategic Land Executive at Beazer Homes, Development Director at Crest Nicholson and Managing Director at Cavendish and Gloucester Properties Plc.
Mark comes from a Civil Engineering background and has been leading his team at Harrow Estates since 2005, specialising in the technical management and delivery of demolition, remediation and infrastructure provision of large, complex sites.
Mark joined the Redrow Group in 1990 and was responsible for the design and implementation of infrastructure for a 200 acre, 2000 unit residential and mixed use scheme. Then later at David Wilson Homes, he was part of the team which acquired Chapleford a 227 acre site and part of the former RAF Burtonwood from Defence Estates in 2001. He then went on to manage the design, implementation and procurement of the infrastructure for the site before joining Harrow Estates in 2005.
Peter is responsible for all legal aspects at Harrow Estates, specialising in property development, acquisitions and disposals. Peter’s role includes the legal management of existing sites, negotiating terms for new sites and the disposal of land to both Redrow and third-party buyers.
Peter joined Harrow in 2015 as Legal Director. His experience spans both private practice and industry where he was employed by a FTSE100 housebuilder to look after all legal aspects of three of its regional businesses. As well as acquiring land for immediate development, Peter’s experience includes the acquisition of strategic land including options and promotion agreements together with collaborative working where sites are shared between operators.
Tim is a Chartered Town Planner with 17 years’ experience within the property industry, and specialises in delivering strategic residential and mixed use development consents. Tim joined Harrow Estates in 2008 following work as a Land and Planning Manager at Wainhomes NW, and now leads the Harrow planning team on development sites throughout the country. Responsibilities include management of planning appraisals for site acquisition, the submission and negotiation of large scale planning application proposals, planning appeals, and planning policy promotion work. Tim also assists with overseeing the Group’s forward land bank and coordinating group representations to government policy on key housing and planning matters.
Steve has 33 years’ experience in the property industry and 27 years’ experience with Redrow having joined the company as a Graduate in 1990.
Steve has been involved in a number of large-scale strategic developments and project managed the acquisition, planning and infrastructure delivery of the Group’s mixed-use urban extension site at Jennett’s Park, Bracknell. He was also responsible for negotiating the land acquisition and a change of use planning permission on the Group’s successful redevelopment at the former Royal Air Force Establishment’s factory at Farnborough.
Steve’s move into Harrow Estates brings with it a wealth of complementary career experience gained within other Redrow Divisions in dealing with large, complicated and difficult development opportunities across all disciplines.
Steve also held a key role within the management team responsible for assessing and acquiring Radleigh Homes in early 2017 to form the new Redrow East Midlands Division.
