Acquired by Harrow in September 2021, we achieved planning in March 2025 for 95 dwellings. The approval came following a one-day appeal hearing that took place in February 2025.

Barwell comprises a detailed planning history, dating back 8 years, to a previous promoter’s application on the site in 2017.

Planning Timeline:

2017/18 – Previous promoters’ application for 185 dwellings refused and dismissed at appeal.

December 2021 – Harrow's application for 110 dwellings submitted.

2023 – Harrow's application dismissed at appeal.

December 2023 – Harrow's application for 95 units submitted.

June 2024 – Harrow's application refused.

March 2025 – Harrow's application for 95 dwellings allowed at appeal.
