Chawton Park Farm will create a new neighbourhood which reflects a blend of high quality urban living within its’ natural and historic setting. Chawton Park Farm is visually enclosed by substantial existing woodlands, which will be retained and enhanced with increased public access. These tree belts across the site will lead the creation a new neighbourhood of different character areas. The site is conveniently located next to the national cycle network, and through dialogue with the Sustrans, the national cycling charity, we have identified considerable potential to enhance the existing cycling infrastructure in the area.
The site adjoins the western settlement boundary of Alton, providing good infrastructure links via the A31, and is also situated on a mainline train route to London Waterloo.
