South Cerney - Gloucestershire

The site is situated in a central location within the highly desirable village of South Cerney in the Cotswolds set amongst a number of nationally acclaimed water parks offering a wide range of leisure pursuits.

The site enjoys water frontage, green open space and offers the potential to become a focal point for the local villagers both as a place to live and as a community hub.

Within a short distance there are more comprehensive facilities available at both Cirencester to the north and Swindon to the south.
 

Harrow Estates acquired the site with a view to redevelopment.  Planning permission for 150 new homes, a new youth and community centre and new areas of public open space was obtained for the site. 
 
The site was formerly a gravel extraction works and then a concrete products production facility. Demolition and site clearance has been completed, together with remediation to remove contaminated soils from site.
