Warfield

Harrow Estates acquired circa 12 acres of pasture land from Stratland Management Limited (Savills Investment Management LLP) via Savills (UK) Ltd in August 2015.

 

The site is located to the north of the vibrant town of Bracknell and to the south of Warfield village in Berkshire.  It forms part of a 2,200 unit strategic mixed-use allocation in Bracknell Forest District Council’s adopted Core Strategy. 

 

It is anticipated that the wider strategic site will be delivered by 2026 with both new and existing residents benefiting from the construction of two new primary schools, community facilities and convenient access to extensive areas of publicly accessible open space. 

 

  • Discussions with the local planning authority and the adjacent landowners regarding the scope to unlock the site’s delivery in the short term have commenced.
  • Baseline studies have been commissioned to inform detailed proposals for the site.
  • Natural England has been consulted on proposals for new Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace to mitigate any potential impact on the Thames Basin Heaths Special Protection Area.
